Traded in my 2001 Spyder for this Plum Crazy Challenger SRT8. Loving the Hemi horsepower and tire shredding torque. Cost of gas- not so much.

Your experience sounds totally different from mine. I'm approaching 100,000 miles on my MINI and it runs great. I'll agree that basic maintenance is a lot more expensive than my '90 Mustang (the only other car I've ever owned), though.

Ah yes! definitely different. I'm under 28,000 miles. Totally bummed and disappointed with this.

I had a tropic orange MKIV GTi, built at the plant in Wolfsburg... would love a MK1 cabriolet now that I am going to have a garage.

99 Jeep Wrangler, love driving it around with the soft top and doors removed. Lately I've been able to do things like add bigger tires, new bumpers- but it still has giant rust holes in the floor from the drain plugs, dents, smelly carpet etc.

I also have a 99 Jeep Cherokee, that thing seems like it will run forever.

2005 Scion XB daily driver. It had a air ride system when I bought it. That was fun for a while but I recently removed it and added TRD lowering springs. I like it much more now. I have a '73 Mustang Mach1 yellow and black that I got when I was 15. It stays in my parents garage. I drive it sometimes. mostly just to circulate the fluids and keep it from locking up. It is a survivor from the 70's cherry! I also have a 1949 Ford F-1 that my dad gave me. it is a total project. It runs and the body and chrome are all there but no glass or interior. I need to get around to working on it.

Thanks!! I love them both. The '49 F-1 is a total project. 3 diff colors of primer, no glass, no interior. I have all the accent pieces and tail lights put up. It's all there as far as body and motor. My parents are building a new house right now. They are hooking me up with a 3-car garage on the property. I will be working on the '49 soon. It was my dads. He has had it over 32 years. I thought he was going to work on it someday but he told me I could have it. I am sure he will gain interest again when I start working on it.
