I wonder if there will be different arm attachments later on...
How tall is this? In my head I'm hoping it is slightly bigger than standard size.

I picked up a green unpainted. It's a great figure.

I think I'd have trouble displaying a bare breasted monster-doll in my house.

That said, I do like the modular construction of the toy, particularly the fact that the forearms are removable, rather than being integrated into the arm sculpt.

I had to wake up at 5am my time for this girl, and the coffee paid off. I got a pink one from the TAG online offerings.

The idea of attachments sounds great. I did notice that some of the one offs at the show had a mockbat belly-thing instead of the Leia bun she has. That's pretty cool, I like how most of the Pk toys can interchange parts very well.

Thanks for the pics, the sculpt looks really neat, though some parts of the bottom half look rushed. It could just be the light. Cant wait to see it in hand.

    Where's the mustache?

Thanks to all who enjoy this figure.
It was a great working with Blobpus on this.

We wanted to make something very different. Sort of a humanoid creature from an ancient sea.
What fun is doing what we do unless we break the "Norm" occasionally?

The positives seem to far out-weigh the good ol' wah wahs anyhow.

The mold is made, the nubs are here to stay for awhile.
Don' like it, don' get it. Upward and onward ,ect...
(Why people are fixated on her nubs is beyond me when she has perfectly weird cool attachments.)

The nubs are 1 of my favorite parts and fit the toy perfectly. It was a nice surprise.

The nubs are super weird and cool at the same time. Love the wings!

I assumed the nubs were made as a platform for future arm attachments (but I guess this is not the only intent? if so that's cool with me) so it's not like I'm bothered to the point where I don't like the figure. I just wouldn't display Vertebrata without arm attachments.

What I like about Vertebrata is that it depicts the design sensibilities of two very unique ( & beautifully twisted ) artists, yet appears balanced and cohesive. This is a great example of a well executed collaboration and without a doubt, expresses how simpatico Paul Kaiju & Blobpus are.

Add another mystifying creature to the PK monster mythology!

Oh...I've been dying to ask; Is there anything underneath the crustaceous skirt? ; )
