Agreed about the unassembled skull wing. I would put it in a window display box thing to display. Very cool.

 

The Skull Hevi cape looks silly IMO and doesn't work for me.
Just not a fan of fur, hair, clothing, capes, scarves etc on toys.

 

I play my rare records all the time. What would be the fun of having these without spinning them?

You can always store the cape and display the hevi without it.

Can't say that about the Pirate orm though!

Hopefully i'll be track down one of these new armed hevis to decide if I like new arms or old gloves more.

 

The arms really do make the hevi for me personally, I really enjoy the amount of detail they have to the point I wish they where painted or not in a pearl white so you could see the detail in photos... I also was pleasantly surprised the head doesn't seem as big in person as it does in photos.

 

Arms look to have bandages unlike the fighter arms.
Still undecided...

Smooth arms and gloves worked for me with past Hevis

The close ups are great, thanks for sharing. I love the hands...they really add to the design and I agree with what someone else had mentioned, in that they look like a play off of the horns on the head.

 

Well- bandages are, kind of a Pushead thing, right? Pirates, Captains, Cococrocs all have them. SkullOrms have them. And the Hevi has bandages wrapping his skull, so... It makes sense to have arms that are also wrapped.

Blech - that skull head looks terrible.

 

It does seem to be polarizing opinions . . . jury's out until I get chance to check it out 'in the flesh'.

 

I'm with NT on this, the skull looks blah. It doesnt fit aesthetically with the other figures. Looks like a bad mashup. I understand its a smaller version of their 1/1 skull, but I'm not fond of that one either. I think it's the teeth and the nostril.

And the figure just looks dull overall. Black with white tampos... Yeah it's classic SB but maybe try something more. Maybe do a rub on the rest of the figure, or change the Tampo up a bit...

 

I like the skull. I like the body. But not together
