For those of you concerned about not getting one of the 24 Silver Angel Dust Calli released at Pasadena's Bispop store today, fear not, word is in that the line consists mostly of...yay....resellers....so expect to see them on ebay later this weekend.

For those of u wanting to pay retail - forget it.

    The lowdown:
Got up ridiculously early for a Saturday to go line-up. Nearly there and my man on the spot calls me to tell me he just got there and is 24th in line. Some usual suspects, and a lot of "sneaker kids" are in line. One well known local toy geek had his wife, grandmother and kids in line with him - he will be picking up 3 of the 24 available. Also spotted in line, KR luminary Wacko.

    Opinion:
Why did Tim post this on Vinylpulse? An edition of 24 would have sold itself to the the 100's on the mailing list without the addition of hordes more people who just read about on Vinylpulse.

that was quick. that sucks.... are you gonna go for an iki? $300 is a pretty big pricetag.

they should have done raffle tix for the calli

Nah, it wasn't ADDUDE, as far as I know. There are little group of people who are always at these things, and bring their "family" to buy extras. When its 24 available that sucks....but I'm sure others will disagree..free market and all. If only they had a "true collector" polygraph test :)

If anyone can get me an IKI I would be very pleased.

    So would I :)

Laguna will be a zoo tonite. I may go another time when there are no collectors there after the limited editions so I can actually enjoy the art rather than enjoy looking thru peoples heads.

I just ordered my god dust Calli online. Edition of 350...so maybe I'll be lucky. Last few onsales my orders were cancelled (Foul flock, polska egg + print). Wish me luck!

i don't really know why it was on vinylpulse either, but there's also really no way to know if that had a detrimental effect as it's not exactly difficult to get on the flopdoodle mailing list anyway. a friend of mine went by and talked to one person who was there at 5:30 and #16 in line.

i'm going by laguna beach on the way home tonight. i was thinking about picking up the iki for myself, but even if i don't want it i'll go ahead and buy one and somebody on the board can have it at cost. museum said the gold dust callis will only be $80 in the store there too and the flat calli is $35, though i still don't know what it looks like. apparently it is "stackable" though.

That sucks if they are selling the gold dust callis at lower price than online. Porque?

Well, it costs $15 just to get into the show if you're not a member of the museum. Maybe that's why.

P.S. Check out the completed auctions on eBay.
