Yep. This is part of a line they did as an exclusive for a department store. The header says Engimono Department Store, but Mandarake always calls it Lucky Star Department Store. Translation, I guess. There's been some by other folks, too. There was one by Mirock I'd like to get, and I've seen a couple others. There's several different paints on this guy. Yeah, I'm real happy with it!

Ahh nice, thanks for the info! I remember now, and yea have seen a couple other color ways and paint apps. Mirock one sounds familiar.. I'm sure it's great as well.

 

The Mirock one is like a ball that's a cat-themed mech with a little pilot that I'm assuming is a cat, too. Something like that. I've only seen ones that have really sparse paint jobs. I'd really like to snag one of the fully painted ones.

I absolutely love this color because I used to be a huge maba zombies fan. Kotobukiman really did an awesome job with not only the vinyl color but also the packaging to match the maba zombies.

 

Man, I need to find one of those Tar Man dudes.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't turn one down, either! I'd seen them around, but I wasn't really aware of the creator, and that he'd done all those cool keshis. The way the yellow and purple is done reminds me of these guys. I'm not sure what the story is, I guess they're considered keshi, but, like the inside parts are keshi and the brown part is a hard plastic shell. The one I have you can move the arms and legs, which are real rubbery. So not a typical-type keshi. I've only seen GeGeGe no Kitaro ones. That is a cool colorway, though!

 

These two cheap-o RxH critters, came in yesterday!

Finding low, low prices on Mandarake does still happen on occasions apparently.. Not sayin' its often or anything. *cough* *coughs*

Oh, I have that orange and blue guy. I'm not super crazy about a lot of RH stuff currently, but that's one I'll be holding on to. Orange and blue is a really awesome color combo, too.

 

Nice, yeah I just love the colors on this guy as well. And couldn't pass him up for the deal..

 

@Beantime - When I ordered mine from Lulu, they sent me the entirely wrong figure. Let me keep it rather than send it back, though


Box day with virtually nothing over 4" Well, the objective here was the Portable Pop-chan. Everyone else was just sharing cab fare. The Bandai Bullmark gacha set is pretty cool, though. Five fully articulated kaiju for under $10? And squeezy vinyl?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about the orange mech/kappa (?) guy? It was listed as "Tokyo Robot 5th Anniversary Mechapper", but that got me nowhere fast.
