shawn, is the pirate's base painted like a metal/pewter color?

i love how he paints these, and i often wonder what music is on in the background when he paints.

 

It's a sort of metallic bluegray.
I'm sorry to flood the forum with this one, but it just looks different from every angle.

 

It is hard to believe this is the same figure. The first picture you posted made him look green based:

 

Yeah, I was using the "hipstamatic" app for the iphone, and it filters it.

 

Btw here's a recent pic of me. Right behind (can't really tell from the pic) is my vinyl stash.
