I was at GRNY at the time of the Kaiju show, then GRSF this past weekend.

 

May 31st, damn! I won't be back in LA till June 6th Oh well at least MK will be getting stuff i want now.

 

what time will this be at??? cant be in hollywood till night time.

 

my brother is planning to go... what time?

 

Should be announced soon I think. Just got the newsletter from MK hinting about the Kaiju event coming up.

I hope the line won't be too bad...I'll be there who else is going? it would be nice to see some people from the board

how'd it go?
my brother got there 2 hours late, and they told him that everything was gone like at 12:05... must have been a lot of good stuff.
he was very bummed though

 

It was a lot of fun. I got there just about 10 minutes past 12 and missed on the rxh pieces. (Damn Melrose was closed and needed to go through too much traffic before finding a decent parking spot). There were a couple Gold Cyclos, yellow jinger and a few other pieces still up when I left but the main goodies, Red/Pink Akro, Orange mini Booska, Super7 Orghan Bat, etc were gone pretty quickly. I was told not many were on hand to begin with.

It was cool finally meeting Glenn and seeing the usual LASK crew just chillin'. Great displays to showcase the crem de le crem of japanese and kaiju vinyl and a sneak peak at Super7's new Mummy Boy *unpainted glow*.

Thanks for coming out to LA S7! I look forward to picking up some goodies from the newest distro shop!

 

I didn't expect the closure at La Brea either but I am familiar with this area and took to the neighborhood. I got there an hour before the event and there were already people ahead of us. It was great to meet people from the boards. It was a pleasant line.

Got to meet Glenn and talk to Plex about being distro and he's very excited to see this happening and so am I.

They really did not have a lot of RxH, several pink akros which were quickly swooped up and a few mini chaos.

They were raffling off the unpainted gid mummy boy, subscriber edition mook and a set of hand-painted ghost land figs? I think I am not sure.

Was able to pick up a toxic avenger chaos man and my gf was able to get the blind bag secret black chaos fighter.

My gf and I also got a chance to oogle sweet collections that were on display. I think my gf likes Goga.

 

Carl the two display cases of your toys really stood out. The lighting was excellent, made everything pop out with color.
Props to you for your part in getting the MK/S7 partnership together.
Thanks to Scott for the LASK tee's and button packs. The button packs even come with there own little header card... nice!
Great meeting other people from the board and hanging out. Scored a pink Akro which seemed to be the Toy of The Day.
I had a good time even though my brain was totally in a fog from a massive head cold. A couple of toys and good company was just what the doctor ordered.

 

had a great time seeing people and even went to the grove after to watch indiana jones..thanks to pogue and lisa for the shirt..and thanks to HMS who brought the cool LASK shirts and buttons..heres the controller family loot
