I ordered shoes (Nike, Lance armstrong charity versions) on a US page....they were sold out completely everywhere else.....
they were a present for a friend.
    350$.
I got the shoes shipped from Hongkong !! and guess what, they are FAKES !
I wrote him to get a refund, no response...
since it was a present, and I didnt notice that they are fakes (just my friend found that out)
the paypal-dispute time as well as the credit card time were over.....
now, the sale-page has also disappeared...
he was using the original NIKE logo and also pics of the ORIGINAL shoes....and then sending fakes.....

do you think there is any way or chance to get my cash back ?
    any advice is appreciated !!

    thanx !!

wow, that really sucks. Sorry to hear it. I'm not sure if paypal could offer you any advice. You might want to give that a shot if you haven't already.
I wish I was in Hong Kong to track him down.
    Good luck!!

thanx for offering to meet him for lunch ;)
na, paypal said they cant do anything anymore cause 30 days had passed, same with my credit-card-company....

Im thinking about contacting NIKE to tell them that he uses the original nike-logo to rip people off and abusing their trademark....but so hard to get contact to the right people there :?
guess they dont care about a small fish like me...

I strongly believe the guy used to rip off people for a very short time only, then deleted his page.....
I dont know if I should threaten him with a lawyer and tell him IM gonna sue him for mail-fraud.....guess this guy wont react on that....

finally I will have to swallow this damage

read about a similar rip-off , but all advices to these people who got ripped-off were that they should buy at authentic/official NIKE stores only......ok, lesson learned, too late !

You have up to 6 months to dispute this with the major credit card companies. If you used a cc to pay through paypal, get in touch with the fraud department at the Bank that issued your cc. If that does not work, report your bank to VISA/MC/AMEX/DISCOVER.

Sorry to hear that Flankengott. So many scams nowadays :(

Just curious, which Nikes did you purchase for $350? I used to buy Nike basketball shoes for $110 and thought I was splurging already

I had to buy the pair of shoes for my little cousin....she wanted to give it to her boyfriend for his birthday...I believe they were 320$ and 30$ for EMS shipping...dont really know much about them......anyhow LANCE ARMSTRONG was involved in the project hence the "LA" patch sewn on it......and in some way a Charity-product , "live strong"-line ??? ..... the ones I recieved didnt have a patch "LA" on it, but "AL" was PRINTED on them instead  ....so glad I can laugh again ....
btw, dont really like them...but they were not for me and I just helped out to purchase them.....

Nike is my client, I can tell them the story. Do you have the original sender's address?
They can take it to the authorities.

Oh I see, yea they have a lot of those sneaker specialty stores here Toronto. Sneaker collections are on the up and up it seems. I'd rather spend it on a toy but then again I can't even wear my toys so I guess we're the crazy ones lol.

good luck to you sir because last time my wife had to deal with paypal about this, it didn't go so well.

she purchased a coach bag from a seller on ebay with what seemed like a legit picture. upon arrival
it was determined to be a fake, reported to ebay, they told us fuck you basically and that you'll have to
take it up with paypal. paypal treated us like we sold them the fake bag, and sent us a requirements list to
even attempt to get a refund. one of those items required, was a signed letter from a rep at coach stating
the bag was fake... needless to say after a bit of leg work we actually managed it and paypal STILL rejected
the claim. so thats when we just had the credit card company take action. they got the money back and
actually paypal changed their tune after the fact. so your best bet it to inform your credit card company
and hopefully they can set everything right.
