    These were called 'Pocketeers' in the UK. I think the Tomy Japanese name was 'Pocketmates'.
    I had a bunch of these when i was a kid, i still have a few of them . . .

    Forgive me, but I just noticed the page 1 tribute. Truly touching and well done, Moog. Thank you.

    So many greats lately as always. Those Microman pages!! Wowzas. Love the feature in the Fetish magazine particuarly, too. I assume that is one person's/his collection? The mix of it - all delightful - is really a wonderful treasure to see; no one subject or common theme, just all wondeful toys. Reminds me of photos of @bansheebot's collection. Looks like a good read. Hot Wheels and Matchbox are collectively 'dinkies' to my childhood (note the small 'd' in generic sense), which is sort of funny, considering we never had an actual "Dinky" toys I don't think.

    Yep, Chris was a cool dude with awesome taste in Sofubi, it was the least i could do.

    I think Dinky toys were more my father's generation, my brothers and i were all about Matchbox and especially Hot Wheels!
    I hadn't seen the Hot Wheels version of the flying bug style car before. That was interesting. Matchbox wins IMO.

    yeah ,I had a few of the Gerry Anderson Dinky toys but it was mainly Corgi and Matchbox for me..I remember breaking a leg off my Thunderbird ,my dad wrote off to Dinky and they sent him four new legs to repair it...I recall Palitoy sending some replacement Action Man parts too:)
