You haven't been misbehaving but we are taking to board down tonight to upgrade to php 3.0.

If all goes well tomorrow we will have a slick fancy board with lots of new bells and whistles. If it all goes wrong we will all be newbs with zero post counts. so back up your pm's and find a movie to watch tonight because around 10pm Skullbrain is going off line.

Implement that long awaited "ignore" feature

Can't wait for all of the whining if post counts get reset to zero

I believe elitism and post counts are unrelated.

i completely agree. but some people think just because they joined a long time ago or have more posts that their words carry more weight. some people who have very few posts have been collecting for decades, but they have families/jobs that prevent them from posting 10 billion times.

imagine a forum with no post counts! seriously, why does a board need them anyway?

post counts, to me, have always been irrelevant. As long as no important information is lost..I'll be good to go.

If people's post counts are deleted i'd have to read what people type before I form an opinion :?

I once whined to Mister Flynn about my choice of screen names. He said "well you can just create a new account but everyone will call you a Fresh Meat."

If we all get reduced to noobs again, I might just take his advice. Then I can match my Flickr name of locoxoco which is easier to spell and is easily distinguished from locomoto and locomoco.

    :D

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit.

It's the only way to be sure.

I hope so. I think a database similar to how discogs.com is set up would be amazing. You can create a profile and add titles to your collection and create a wantlist of titles. People could cross reference. Imagine doing that here? It would be the ultimate checklist.
