I'm flying in through JFK, seemed the best route. This will be my first time attending. It will be great meeting everyone from the east coast!

I got my pro pass approved! I applied again from a different e-mail and showed different work. Stoked to go all 4 days now, instead of having to choose. I'll be the bald guy w/ some sort of hc/punk band shirt. See you all at the "The Block"

I honestly would suggest staying in Jersey, Hotels will be 10 times cheaper and you have the Nj transit buses and trains right into both Penn Station and Port Authority, which are both no more then 4 long blocks away from the Javits Center. Any hotels will cost you an arm and a leg in Manhattan and in Queens.

i stayed in jersey last year and definitely saved a lot of money. the bus ride to the port authority isnt bad at all.

I am booked and ready! This will be my fist time to visit NYC. I have a extra Saturday pass. Are there any must see or eat places aside from the con? Are there any good places to eat within walking distance from the con?

^ I am ready!! Does NYC really have the best pizza? If any locals have any food suggestions please fire away.

No joke. Its the best. I'm really serious about my pizza, Anyone will tell you I'm a big boy. Living in Seattle the past 7 months. I'd Shank someone for even the worst NY slice.
P.S. there ain't shit close to Javitts. As a veteran of many NYCC. I usually hop in a cab downtown or walk further uptown. Although recent years the party has moved to BK

I've always been a fan of Barcade in Brooklyn. It's a bar with vintage arcade games, usually late 1980's or before. All games are 25 cents and the games have built in beer holders. They also have a pretty great micro brew beer menu. It's near Cotton Candy Machine too, if you want to check that out.
