Hey New Yorkers I will be coming to NYC next weekend and i was wondering if people could suggest some good record shops to check out? Im mostly interested in punk and sludgy metal and instrumental music. Gotta get that vinyl fill
Other Music is my fave, but visit their website first to see if it's your bag. The Brooklyn locale of Academy Records is big on genre-specific vinyl.
unfortunately Chad There was a cool little record shop right around the corner from Toy Tokyo actually. It might have been on 4th or 5th. Not sure but between bowery and 2nd.
