Don't worry - everything will be OK. But what's up with that Pupshaw upthread? Was she in a fight or something?

Damn, late to to the party on those Lorbos. Are they anywhere to be found?
On a similar note, just got that huge Gary Panter book, surprised he hasn't had
a few kaiju made, aside from Jimbo.

everyone here with the inquiries reserved these back in august, and got confirmation emails. it said they were to be released in sept. but have not received invoices or anything.
i imagine they are delayed or we are all SOL.

There located in Tokyo but I guess that does not %100 guarantee the vinyl is made there.

Looks great, I bet the painted pieces will look fantastic. The header art is primo. How does Lorbo feel vinyl-wise? Any concerns about the quality?

Oh cool, so mine will likely arrive any day now. Whooo!

I'd like to see a GID version, but what else is new?

Mine arrived today as well. The vinyl & molding is good quality, not as nice as Garamel or M1, but not bad. I want to see the painted before I commit.

(And Playdough, take the cheap display stands off their feet - they stand fine w/out them.)

i had no idea this was a three-zero project, but that's where my delivery came from. It's nice and heavy for it's size.

I have the same issue...just find a trustworthy American friend stateside to relay it to you, it will be much cheaper. Its pretty big run so it shouldn't be gone too quickly...(i hope)

To those of you who have the actual toy. how is the sculpt? Pictures never do it justice. Are they western toy good or japanese toy good?

    keiboba Comment King

I'd definitely put it in the japanese toy good category. Jim's character was just so fully captured in the sculpt that I'm still impressed with every detail they were able to pack in. Very, very nice.
