Pictures of his booth at WF also show a Mire-Gijo Trike, a new giant Tetsujin and a GID Gamera piece... very interesting to ss how it will turn out.
I keep seeing this photo and thinking it's a digital rendering. I didn't like it at first, but it looks a lot better in other shots I've seen.
Hey, jl...any links to those photos? None of the ones I've seen have the GID Gamera. Is it the Gamera trike that was teased a while back? And, yeah, those Mire-Goji trikes look great. I love that they're doing trike blanks now. Really looking forward to the GID Mire-Goji trike.
Same! There's something about the photos that at first glance screams, "RENDER!" And the fact that they actually did their first-ever render reveal of a new (Shin?) Ultraman fig a few months didn't help, either... And agree about seeing this guy in the while. The paint job is typical Yuji-tastic and his proportions are just kind of nutballs. And he is CHONK.
I’m glad I went back to have another look after these posts. I was so fixated on the trikes I didn’t realise how amazing that giant Gamera is!
Came to this thread in the hopes of seeing this Gamera trike again but alas no luck. Has anyone heard any news about it? I can’t help but be excited thinking about it.
Does anyone know if there's an easy way to fix a slipping tricycle? I bought a used one and it won't go when the key turns and sounds like it's soul is being ripped out lol.
Not sure, but I can relay my own experiences. My Ish Cyclops arrived that way, and Ish's lackluster response to the problem left me not wanting to deal with him again. The only other one I've ever owned was a Matango (which i sorely miss), but it rolled fine. It mainly sat on a shelf though. I think I only played with the windup mechanism when asked to do so by some friends that had come over.
I did a complete dissection, it's a cracked sprocket in the back, RC hobby stores sell them, but I'm worried about taking off the back wheels. To be honest I would like to replace the gears with ones made of metal, but I'm unsure if that's akin to me repainting a J-tail..
