new gorilla ju!!!

Luckilly Gorilla-Ji doesnt do much for me...but this mecha gorilla version really resonates with me. Now I just need to figure out how to get one......

I am surprised, I know "first" usually pulls in a bit more but 1- Gorilla Ju's never go that high (that I've seen) and 2- We know there will be more. It's not like this is some "on the out" failing line of figures. Dude's active pounding these things out.

Whatever though, I thought it'd go $700-$800 HIGHEST but not nearly double, yeesh! But it's part of my love of this crap, even if it is out of control, it's always surprising.

 

It's an awesome toy and I'd LOVE to have one...for $80.

 

Holy, you wouldn't think it was an economic downturn with the way some of these auctions are ending.

 

i'd love to see a graph or analysis of the buyers the spend more than $1,000 on any single toy and the toys they purchase (non-vintage).

Yup, and that's why I'll never own one. I think $80 is pretty extravagant for such a toy.

Finally a preview. Mecha Gorilla-Ju made of brown vinyl. Missle made of GID vinyl.

 

I prefer the first version. I almost don't like this one. Don't mind for that brown tone nor the blue highlights.

 

I think my brown vinyl threshold had come to it's limit for the time being. (see the buta thread, if you what I mean)

 

I like this one more. That is all I have to say.
