    The wings are articulated.

    So forward and backward?

If I understand you correctly, no.
They're articulated in such a way that they can tuck behind the body (I imagine for display purposes). It's the same way arms are articulated, but just on the back, if this makes any sense.

Yeah, those wings look a little small. Reminds me of the big girls that get tiny pixie or angel wings tattooed on their back. Sorry honey, those aren't getting your ass off the ground.

the standard deathra will be released as regular runs. i think there's simply no time to prepare an sdcc edition.
i feel the same way about the size, it is an imposing figure but a shelf-killer.
so i can only collect the TO and unpainted black whenever they get released.

on a sidenote, i am rather surprised to see quite few miboras at SDCC.

I second the sentiment on the Deathra but this has got some character to it.......I see Pug in the face

What is the size compared to the full sized Zag?

In another one of Hank's photos, it looks like it's the same as a standard zag.

God I wish I could score one of these full sized Desura. This is by far my favorite Gargamel sculpt and cant wait to see more.

If anyone reading this can help me score please PM me

    P.S.

A standard DEATHRA Tank would be awesome, too! ;)

I'm shocked at how much I like standard Deathra - I'm not too fond of mini Deathra, and the teaser photos did nothing for me. Can't wait to see more pictures of this figure!

Just saw a video of Joe handling the standard Deathra posted on Hank's flickr album.

That thing looks HUGE. My collection consists of mainly chunky vinyls so I'd say this is a home run! Articulation on the wings remind me of Mazinger's scrander which is all gooooood.

    Yes! 55 Blue please!

The changes made by Gargamel make this sculpt so much more interesting than a straight up-size of the mini.

IMHO best new sculpt from Gargamel in ages.

It's my favorite full sized right now just based on a few pics. Gotta see one in hand. This makes me even more excited for the Dec show at Roto.

Does anyone know or have pictures of the standard Zag and mini/crouching/micro zags from SDCC this year? Usually they are sold today through Sunday. I have only seen customs so far.

There were no standards last year right? Just customs I think. I think last year was a few mini's and mid sized figs and all customs otherwise.

There was a standard zag last year. No mini, I believe, but a crouching and a micro.

I thought the micro didnt debut until this years lucky bag.

There was no standard Zag last year. The denver bronco's colored gid one was the last one and that was from 2008.

Word is nothing new today other than the pocket helper.
