Yeah! Its a totally different approach fro the 1st batch. My initial reaction to the 1st batch was that it could take a little bit more paint (but the sculpt just floored me). I kept looking at it and imagining but never expected what he did with this KC version- AWESOME!!! The interesting thing is that when I put them together, each has its own character.
Can anyone tell from the Elegab site if this is a one off custom or will be a release? Either way it's awesome!
That was a test paint. I'm excited for the next release. I hear it's a doozy. I want to find this version:
Matt Walker aka Dead Presidents also has some pictures of the customs of the shuttle-gon he has made so far
Patchi Summit. Maybe have been lottery prize? Another pic via KT's flickr: These were the other two that were there:
This one is AWESOME! I like the grey ones, but they're just not for me, I like more colorful schemes. Zunougon is my favorite Elegab figure overall, but damn they're all pretty amazing. I'd like a clear Shuttlegon to go with the clear/blue painted figures he's already done.
not lottery prize joe. its a PS special but very very few that nite, i think around 10 or less. it didn't even last through the first 3 minutes when the next card was drawn for the next batch of buyers to start approaching the dealer tables.
Sounds like GrumbleToy is gonna have some exclusive Elegab pieces soon, including a yellow Zunogon. Are these what you're referring to Joe, or is it the release of a new sculpt?
Yeah, saw the pics of GT version. Looks really similar to the KC version except the chest area seems silver to me. Not sure if its the same or its just the pics.
Quick heads up for those looking, Grumble Toy has some of the Kaiju Comrades sets up in the pre-order section in case you missed Roto's. I can't wait for my set to come, that Zunougon seems to be the best yet!
Sofvi Mania is a successor to Patchi Summit. Earlier this year, they had both a "talk-only" Patchi Summit (no items sold) and Sofvi Mania 01 (more product oriented).
It's become a one-off. It was a test run on the Gojira blue vinyl. Seems like he won't be doing this exact colorway.
