The boys are at it again. "Keeping with the whole space adventurer theme we dug into the whole NASA patch aesthetic. The Head In the Clouds graphic is our attempt to recreate one of those graphics that hearkens back to those vintage Apollo shuttle mission patches you'd pick up on a family vacation at the Kennedy Space Center. We really wanted to keep true to the design formula utilized on those while still adding our own twist that related to the whole Skyway Trippers theme. Instead of an image of a shuttle or satellite we chose a Mazinger style robot head propelling over Earth. An air guardian with it's head truly in the clouds. The rest of the text we tried to keep true to military company mottos choosing "Learning To Fly" and "Be Free 'n Easy" as ones that not only helped convey the brands general mindset but also fit into the whole Skyway Trippers adventurer theme we were going for!"
thanks man. yeah, those were hot off the press and Greg took a couple to the Magic trade show in Vegas. Probably this fall.
Thats nice! I have family that work at the Space and Rocket center and Redstone Arsenal in AL and I always have them send me mission patches and stickers, I love that shit.
I already got the B/W version, so you know I'm going to have to get this one to, I hope it comes in husky kid sizes.... amazing as usual....
That's why I love this. I'd rock the Epcot and Nasa shirts when I was a kid because I was a space cadet back then
I wanted to go to Space Camp so freakin' bad, and the movie didn't help either! This is an awesome tribute to those patches. I got a Challenger shuttle medal from one of the missions before it blew up. It was the summer before it happened. I always felt so eerie looking at it after that. Enough therapy, good Mishka stuff.
