Lulubell was robbed!

This is so fucked up!

On Sunday or Monday March 8th in the wee hours of the morning some asshole was nice enough to throw a rock through our window & steal what they could grab in kaiju before the cops showed up. Lulubell is 2 people -2 lives who give their all to enrich Tucson's art community. What was taken is very easily identifiable. Amy, this is awful news. Both because you were robbed and the idea that the crime was perpetrated by someone in the scene. These figures are identifiable. You know your friends will be on the lookout. Sorry this happened, and I'll circulate your link.

This is awful news indeed.

Did the thieves steal random stuff or did they take choice pieces? If they took choice pieces they may have cased the store prior to them stealing.

If they stole haphazard stuff then it was just opportunistic theft.

We hope they catch the people responsible for this!

Really sorry to hear this Amy and Luke! Hopefully whoever did this isnt involved in the scene and has no idea what is going to hit him or her when they try and offload this stuff!

I read somewhere else that some other retailer got some stuff nabbed. WTF?

This is fncked. This is a really great store with some really cool people hooking up the Kaiju community. I just hate to see bad things like this happen to such good people. My sympathy goes out to you guys.

I think the best thing we can do for Lulubell at this point is to keep a vigilant eye out for the stolen goods. It's always hard to hear news like this happening specially to good folks like Amy and Luke (whom I've not had the pleasure of meeting, regardless). Stealing that large Kozik Evil was a critical mistake and I'm confident that the law will find these fools somehow.

I read about this the other night as I was falling asleep on my couch at home and had a dream about it. In the dream I concocted a huge elaborate story. I saw it go down, I saw them take the evil. My brain decided to make them the worst kind of people possible....JUGGALOS. I remember literally being disgusted. At some point in the dream, they got caught and beat to death with the giant evil. I can't remember who was doing the beating but I'm hoping it was your or Luke.
