Gargamel Lucky Bags 2020 (there will be spoilers)

Question, has anyone seen an ETA for the bags? I remember one year it came fairly late.

 

I haven't even seen the bigger US / HK retailers (s7, roto, aa, etc) mention them yet. Im still checking that #ggml tag on IG every day

 

Might be another late year, but as long as the Lucky Bag has nice things in it, doesn’t matter to me!

 

Still havent seen an official announcement from Gargamel yet.

 

Dont think anything is official until we hear from Gargamel themselves. I feel like we have had info as late as mid feb in the past..

 

Their JP site states:

For Overseas customer
we accept international order and shipment. Please e-mail to "order@gargamel.jp" for your ORDER.

But when I've contacted them before, via that email, I have heard nothing back. Have others had success using this method?

 

I think that's more for their single toy items in the online shop - as far as I know the Lucky Bags are designated for overseas retailers to supply to overseas customers

In USA it's probably easiest to buy from rotofugi or s7. I think rotofugi may be a few bucks cheaper because they usually sell at same price but u can get a free shipping from roto.

 

I think the last time they offered LBs to overseas customers direct from their shop was 3 years ago. And it was glorious because they were like $250 shipped

 

Looked around on there facebook page and they didnt post the lucky bags until Feb 9th last year. Your probably right about it being released closer to or in Feb.

 

Nice job sleuthing! Definitely good to know. I can handle early to mid February, no problem. End of February... might get a little bit antsy.

 

I also tried the e-mail for something in their store, but no one responded.

 

Same here, I tried in 2018 before dcon and eventually got a very nice response from Kiyoka through the same email. He was very sorry and offered to hand off some items to a friend at dcon, which was very generous. It didn't work out and we emailed again after and discussed ordering multiple lucky bags (for friend's store) but the friend passed. I don't remember if I emailed again about the items but just kind of forgot.

So TLDR, keep trying that email! I sent a few and got a response about a month later. I don't think they check the email much as I don't think the store gets much action outside of releases.

Has anyone heard any Lucky Bag chatter? It’s a few days into February, you’d think we’d hear something.

 

I made contact with Super7 support, they said they are working on the bags but there will be a wait. I hope it's because new molds

 

what new molds?

 

It's what they use to make the new toys, they maintain the shape of the vinyl, they are made of metal using electro-plating process, they cost a lotta money and because the market is flooded there's naturally a fucking delay in making them and holding up our muthafuckin lucky bagghsss

 

Is that confirmed that they are actually making new toys or is it speculation? I know it was written that Brandon saw it but I haven't seen it written any where or posted on instagram yet.

 

there's been a buzz about a certain new mecha sculpt in the works since 2018........

but I'm still hoping for a standard S-Taiin & Mecha Globby
