Gargamel Lucky Bag 2015 Thread (w/ spoilers)

There is too many collaboration minis this year for me. I'm a Zag/Deathra guy so I'm always going to hope for at least 3 variations of those like we saw in past years. I doubt we will see bags like that again though with the variety of Gargamel sculpts that they can choose from.

Still sad missing out on the excitement of opening a bag this year round, It has been a special part of the year I always look forward to.

Silver lining for me is the Mecha Zag head, would be even better I think with a few extra Mecha body parts mixed up with the Zag like they have done with the wings on the Garudan. It's an Exciting year for Gargamel!

 

The orange toxic conifer is one of my favs this year. If you look back to when that sculpt first showed up the paint job was black with similar silver sprays. Last years bag also had a green one with the same pattern. This year is the third one done in similar paint styles. I'm glad to see the diversity in toxic conifers this year!

 

I love the conifas. They look great on a shelf too. I really like the variety on them this year as well. Last year's green is a classic IMO.

Love the mix on my zag...the dark gray body is awesome. Diggin' the ram. Much happier with a deathra than a conifas, those aren't my thing. All in all...Happy with what I got.

Oh...and for those keeping track...I opened my bag on Monday. so you could say this was a 1st wave bag?

 

All of these bags look great imo. After seeing more and more of the Mecha Zag heads, it has grown on me and I would love having one. I doubt that's gonna happen any time soon, but whatever. I thought I might be able to keep a bag for myself this year, but I ended up letting that one go to a board member. At least I know there's a good chance I can snag a regular Zag from this years release. If not, there's always Mandarake

I had fun opening my 1st ever Gargamel lucky bag today. I didn't pull the orange Garudan, which was my #1 choice, although I am Really enjoying this brown Deathra in hand. And that kinda came as a surprise, to be honest, as I was prepared to pass him on if I got one. But nope, he's home.

I am honestly more excited about Conifas than any other full size Gargamel sculpt. Yep, I'm fucking weird.

shhhhh... hoping a mixed parts trade thread is created. I want to attempt at making a complete pea soup green Zag.

 

Something about the placement of colours on that Zag.. When I first saw it I thought it was a painted version with some cool colour wheel gradient effects. The best mixed parts Zag I've seen, congrats!

Bad teeth comics - thanks man. I couldn't have asked for a better spread.

Crazy the amount of miborah and mecha zags popping up. Too bad all mech heads are black and miborah heads are green. Seems odd to me. That said, I want one of each. ...and also want another 1 or 2 mixed zags.

Mine's estimated to arrive tomorrow, I'm so excited!

 

I'm not happy with my bag this year. Pretty much the entire bag is up for trade in the trades section. What doesn't get traded will probably be sold except for the micros and maybe the killer.
