They look pretty cool as a set - What is annoying about them ? is it getting the accessories ?

some are actually very difficult to find, but mostly it's just dealing with poor condition, and many sellers attributing inflated value to them.

  6. The Moog

Who doesn't love a 12" high squeaky rabbit?
    Most probably 50's or 60's.

    Combex.

These are most probably 1960's but i cant be sure. The small orange rabbit was on a teething-ring made by Combex.
The pink one has a really nice chiming sound and was made by Boots in the UK.

I dont know why i like rabbits so much, i think maybe theres something esthetically pleasing about their ears!

    50p for both at a boot-sale :)

    The Moog Die-Cast

    ^^ I think i'm right in saying they are Chinese vampires . . . . .

    Edit:
In fact i've just checked XVivaHateX's flickr and they are indeed:
    Bandai Kyonshi (Jiangshi) chinese vampire.

I almost bought the smaller one once but never pulled the trigger. Great figures!

Those snails rule! I think there is a vintage Strawberry Shortcake
snail toy that looks similar to these guys. You always find great
stuff man and its always a treat to see your posts!

Are these marked other than made in Ireland?

    They look very Combex!

  25. The Moog

    The Moog Die-Cast

^^ Thanks mate, and yeah - they do look similar to combex stuff . . . . someone on flickr told me they are by a company called 'JL Prescott' but i haven't confirmed that. The only marking is 'Made in Ireland'. This painted burnt orange coloured version is the most common as far as i'm aware, i've seen it for sale a few times since i started collecting them. The other two i've never seen again!
