Interesting "toy". From the picture, it looks like its 3inches tall, but it states its 8", which sells me more on it.

Another KR figure, but it's made out of resin and the "jade" effect is nice

 

Not KR but Kuso...but I do agree the resin marbling does look like Marble. A jade mongolion in this resin would be crazy...

 

I thought the "jade" effect was nice also, I still wont get it, but I like the way it was done.

 

I didn't think I could hate ThreeA more, but then they come out with this, and make it an SDCC exclusive:

So, has anything good been shown yet? I'd feel pretty gypped right about now if I was going to SDCC.

That resin jade big-shoed thing is abysmally bad.

 

Yeah Im starting to doubt my first SDCC.....

 

So far the only sdcc stuff that looks good is by HealyMade..I can't wait to see what Grody and Paul have up their sleeves!

 

You should never count out Gargamel and the Grasshut crew. They always bring the heat at SDCC.

 

Don't worry. SDCC isn't just about toys anyways. I've enjoyed all facets of comic-con. I think going to comic-con solely on a toy hunting mind set will just take away from all the other amazing things that happen there.

 

I like a lot of what I've seen for SDCC regardless of where it originates from. Wish I had double the budget. Most of its going to actual comics. Some sofubi. Some other stuff. Regardless I like the news and the pics. It helps a lot to prepare and plan. Thanks to the posters.

 

Now if I can just keep from paying to much for a Duk Duk before then I should be ok.

 

I'm actually wondering about Gargamel myself. Normally we see some pics of what they are bringing on their blog, but there hasn't been anything as of yet. Hopefully something we'll show up soon.

I'm interested to see the other Wilkowski customs this year. Love his technique! I was super lucky to get a couple from last year. I only pray that one day he'll apply the skeleton implant into a large kaiju sculpt. Although I bet it would cost a bundle o' bucks.

 

I'm hoping we see some Gargamel teasers over the weekend. I think they started showing pics about a week before the show week. Not sure how it will work this year since I heard that they are just sending the toys and having Bwana sell them without the whole crew coming over.
