Denjin Zaboga is one of my favorite Tokusatsu hero characters. From a design perspective, I really liked the reference to shogun helmets in his robot/android head design and of course the transformation into a motorcycle kicked ass. All the great gizmos that popped out of the robot body were fantastic too, the mini spy copter that came out of his head, the mouse car out of his feet, did anyone ever make a diecast with all those details? Calling Bandai Chogokin series! Calling Bandai Chogokin series! In Bullmark's figure I especially enjoy his clenched fists which of course along with other figures inspired a lot the new kaiju designs. On this figure though, and maybe it's just me, his fist really stand out to me almost as if "Jack Kirby" drew them, giving the figure a "I'm gonna bust you up!" attitude that I really enjoy. A little hard to notice, but the light blue vinyl also has tiny metallic specs in it, a nice android touch. Crud I just realized I forgot to photograph the backer and header cards!
Nice toy and cool shots! I particularly like the striped hands. The die cast one (Eidai / Grip) is pretty unspectacular (in my book) but Bullmark did make a number of crazy tricked out vinyls of that guy. Check this out:
