Enjoying this right now. Le Sang d'Encre from Le Trou du Diable (Shawinigan, QC). They call it a dry stout but it is bit porter-like; dark, slightly hoppy, clean finish. Very tasty.

Dogfish Head Festina Peche. Perfect summer beer, er... malted beverage w/ peach concentrate.

Well, submitted my thesis today, so I am having a mini celebration of one with this, the aptly named Opa's Gose from Beau's Brewery. Even comes with extra sea salt on the side to give it the authentic Gose flavour. I must say, it is delicious.

Not exactly beer related (not specific) but I work at a bar in downtown Long Beach(ca), if anyone is in the area stop by! The Stave, just look for the black kid with big glasses. Ill buy you a drink! (fine print:Of my choice based on your preferences)

It's 2,878 miles to Long Beach from Connecticut. 44 hours In current traffic.
    I'm gonna be late.

    My drinks last night:

    Paulaner Oktoberfest/Marzen 5.8% ABV ($5 - pint) < Not great

New England 668 Neighbor Of The Beast 8.5% ABV ($7 - 12 oz) < Too small!

Southern Tier Crème Brulee Imperial Stout 9.6% ABV ($6 – 9 oz) < like a milkshake

Atwater Vanilla Java Porter 5.5% ABV ($5 – pint) < very good

Next time I’ll have the Atwater Vanilla Java Porter first.
It wasn’t nearly as sweet as the Crème Brulee.
More like a vanilla coffee served in an ashtray (in a good way)
It occurred to me that the Crème Brulee Imperial Stout could start world peace.

We've got Snallygaster, the craft beer fest for the DC area coming up. Kaiju related in that Snallygaster was the name for a mythical sea creature off the Atlantic Coast and all the areas in the fest are similarly named. Some amazing cask beers available. The local beer scene has been coming on strong as of the last couple of years. It's a beautiful thing.

Seems like summer won't let go here, but thankfully I found a delicious beer to enjoy this heat. This is an exceptionally delicious seasonal craft beer, and I think I may have gotten the last one in Toronto. Crisp, full of complex flavours, and utterly enjoyable. Highly recommend tracking this one down if you can.

I don't have a super cool picture of each, but I recently tried one of each of "Clown Shoes" brewing companies IPA's. I have to say they were pretty solid my favorite being the "Galactica" which I do have a picture of! [IMG] Please excuse the terrible Instagram quality.

I love the Porter on the left. St. Peter's makes great lower-carbonation brews! And I need to try that Lemon & Ginger badly. :)

Nice selection! You probably already know this G, but for anyone else who is a fan of Beau's, there is a bus that actually goes there from Montreal regularly. Oktoberfest is usually difficult to get tickets to, but it is worth it for just a regular get away as well.

My sister lives in St-Eugene like 20 Minute from Vankleek Hill, so I'm often there, no need to wait for a bus

If you wants something from Beau's let me know :)

Where can I get a bottle in NM? The one I really want to try is Dogfish heads "Punkin" but that doesn't even show up around these parts :/

I added the page and their Beer Finder in there.

I haven't had it in awhile but the Raison D'etre is my favorite DFH.
(deep mahogany, Belgian-style brown ale brewed with beet sugar, raisins and Belgian-style yeast)

Probably best with a meal or just before a night of Miller Highlife bottles
