antique squim

    i don't have an airbrush, or v-color paint but i like to do customs, so i work with what i have. i also love the squirm sculpt, so i had to do a custom one. did it with about 6 coats of antique gold paint, sanding some layers in between to let the black show through. then applied an oxidizer to create real patina on the suckers, the crack on the head and the eyes. my damn hand smelt like pennies the rest of the night. anyway, i have a couple more planned, i just need to grab some more squirms. donations welcome :D

    oh and i did this old monster movie treatment to the photo for the hell of it

    That's pretty cool- I was watching a 'finding treasure' show on Discovery the other week, and this reminds me of the gold bars they were dredging up from a wreck.

    Wasn't sure about the Squirms at first, but the more I see them, the more I like 'um :)

    Well done on getting the antique look, really effective!
    I hate that penny smell :razz:
