I think the collab works well. S7 and Mishka visions blend perfectly; one can see each party represented without losing their identification and the toy looks deliberate. The mummy wraps around the eyeball are a great touch. brainers who just don't like mishka are going to leave negative comments
What I see is that somehow mishka is definitely appropriating the eyeball design now. Whereas before it was an homage of sorts, now it is a blatant move to use the design as their own. I mean, S7 could have done this without having mishka involved at all and it still would have sold given it's madball influence. Just like most of the mishka stuff was targeted at first. Iuno, just my two cents. It's a move to help both companies, but I really don't know how I feel about it. How long until S7 characters appear on mishka gear in LS style? It will definitely make people that love both brands very happy that's for sure.
Thanks everyone who snagged the Keep Watch Mummy Boy! S7 and Mishka have been crossing paths now for some time, carrying each others gear and nerding out about a lot of the same stuff. Old timers will recall this killer collab tee from Lamour Supreme a good four years ago.. more to come!
I'd have been all over that one! Just didn't have it in me to stay up til 3am here for the big reveal... The collab seems to have worked out well, congrats to both parties involved.
