I’m guessing it’s not the first transforming sofvi but it’s pretty cool. Anymore out there? https://twitter.com/ukydaydreamer/status/1599554730392707074?s=52&t=Pidm33SuTUKAnVg_zMVJCA
Ah the Gashira borg reminds me of Rumble monsters Speed demons cars. They do a similar transformation.
Someone recently made a "kanzen henkei" (perfect transformation) sofubi of the Circus One from the 80s robot anime Galvion: https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1063728886 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chō_Kōsoku_Galvion
Hey that’s pretty cool. Just watched the first episode. No idea what they were saying but it didn’t matter.
Ah, Thanks! I’ve never been able to share a pic from my phone. My fingers are too big for these new age sharing promts
Hey another fun one from Ukdaydreamer! Impressive with the 3 different poses. I noticed it got snapped up quickly on Mandarake, at a decent price too. Edit: sorry mods I don’t know how I made two posts or how to delete the above.
and not by me sadly.I really like the almost Digimon styling on this guy , it just demands to be played with.
Another vintage example, a magnetic Groizer X vinyl that you can swap the parts around to make his flying mode:
I've been curious about these types of vinyls for a while, and regret that I totally missed this thread. Besides a few on this page I've seen (and some I can't find anymore) I also came across this thing, "Hard Shell Daiko Emperor Heragrad" which... I think counts? It's bigger than it looks! Kinda so chaotic that it's not super recognizable in either form. But, perhaps still pretty fun.
