I'm pretty sure everyone knows already but didn't see it come up. Lucas said that after watching Avatar, this movie made it possible to finally remaster the Star Wars Saga in 3D. Just curious to know if fans support it or think it's another reason for Lucas to milk more money out of us, change scenes and add more CG. Unless he makes Han shoot first again.
I know that there has been talk for years about remastering Star Wars in 3D...we'll see. I'm curious.
At this point, after all the BS (of which there is plenty), I don't really care about Lucas "milking" Star Wars anymore. If Star Wars comes out in 3D, I'm there.
Yeah, seriously since nothing will beat the untouched originals I could care less. 3D would RULE I don't care what lame crap they add. I have the DVD release of the untouched originals so I don't care what else he does to them, it's been beaten to death so it's no surprise.
you sure. He might add Hayden Christensen under the Darth Vader helmet in Ep. VI I just always find it hilarious how Solo's head shifts in the remastered versions.
At this point he has already killed off any nostalgic interest in those films for me. If he continues to mess with thx1138 I'll be more upset. only way to keep lucas away from his own films...
though i'd love to see them in 3D... i think the time, money & tech would be better spent on a new film... even if it screws the pooch
the fact that that turd sandwich of a movie, Avatar, inspired George Lucas kills any respect I had left for him... which was none.
+1, They can redo the entire trilogy in CGI and I'd be set as long as I have the originals (have all three in laser disc)in my library.
