Hi, Does anyone have a lead on any Telco-Chan toys? Not sure of rarity or what's out there, but would love to know since it is at the crossroads of two of my loves (Vintage telephones and cuteJapanese mascots) Couple of pics I've found online:
For some reason none of your images are showing up for me, but I found this Twitter thread: https://twitter.com/mondomascots/status/1014704341016408064?lang=en There is a reply late in the thread saying the company's name was Denden Kosha (電々公社) before it was NTT, and I put that Japanese search string into Mandarake: https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/listPage/list?keyword=電々公社&lang=en Hopefully you can find some other toys without having to sell organs to pay for them. ;p
Look at these cuties: https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order...elephone Telephone Public Corporation&lang=en https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order...elephone Telephone Public Corporation&lang=en
oh Thanks. Yes the pics above are mostly of the toys you posted-and a larger statue figure that probably stood outside office buildings or stores. The statue is gorgeous. Guess this might be all that exists of her. Thanks!
Excellent shelf, good luck with the Telco-chan search! May i also suggest this British Telecom 'Buzby' squeaker? Made by Combex. If you find one, i guarantee it will be waaay cheaper!
