Thinking about getting an electric vehicle and I'm just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this? There's good deals on the 2016 VW e-Golf but the range doesn't seem too good. The 2017 is supposed to almost double the current range. Chevy Bolt seems like it is the best bang for the buck right now. Also wondering what people use for the home charging station.
The VW concept bus looks promising, but it's still many years away. VW needs to work very hard on restoring consumer confidence in their products. People don't take kindly to being lied to and deceived. Hence, the reason for all of the hot water VW's been in for quite some time now and the various class action lawsuits they've incurred.
Not at all helpful, but I just saw this Honda concept the other day and LOVE it! I hope that they don't change it much before it hits market...other than integrating the dash screen a bit better. Also hope they bring it to the US - from what I understand it's built for the EU market. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/frankfurt-motor-show/hondas-made-brilliantly-retro-electric-car
I thought this new was pretty crazy. It's great that they did it but it's nuts that they have that kind of power over your car. Definitely wouldn't want to have to rely on an electric car in a natural or manmade disaster. https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/10/...-update-florida-extend-range-model-s-x-60-60d
