No ploblem about the info And yes I want to say he was some kind of sick. I hear native people will use and say like it but seems not !?? He said "体調を崩す" and this may not equal to he is/was sick so I didn't use the term "sick". Anyways, sometimes I'll write/speak strange English so sorry in advance
If you want to say someone isn't feeling well, you can say he is "under the weather." That's a pretty general term that's used a lot. If someone is really sick, you can say he's "in bad shape." But that's only for more serious conditions. The problem with English idioms is they're unforgiving. If one word is wrong or out of place, it can sound really strange or funny. If you have any questions about how to say or translate something, feel free to PM me.
I received it yesterday. I don't know what figures other people got but seems like this years LB comes with Limited items + Sample/Proto. My bag is - One-off Mav - Dorome (1 of Limited 2) - Unpainted Ankoron (clear pink/red) - Unpainted 2 Bakurasu head-parts (white/clear red) and Impera Jr.(?) I'll take a pic and upload on my Blog
Mine arrived this morning...my first lucky bag and VERY SATISFIED! Awesome Maxtoy X Cronic Tripasu--i find this piece so hip. Totally surprised with this bloody/injured (probably went to battle with those Zyurai and Mav samurais from the black parade??Hehe...) Ankoron. Lastly, I love the paint apps on this milky Dorogami---just awesome. Now let's see some more LBs!
Wow, the new bloody style is wild and they mixing of the swirl paints on the Dorogami is great. Can't wait to see more of these. Thanks for the great pictures as always Jay.
Alright. Nice lucky bag Jay. Does anyone know if there is going to be a US release or if MaxToy is getting these?
I think it would work on a less goofy figure. A baby blue Ank doesn't really scream "cover me in blood!!!" to me. The rest of the bag looks aces.
I think some of the new eyeball/blood trail figures work better than others. The ones where extra eyeballs are plastered randomly don't make a lot of sense. But for some, like Jurgen's Nerd One mummy and Jay's blue Ank, I think it works nicely. The Ank looks to me like a wounded soldier more than a "gore" piece. Personally I'm not at all a fan of figures that are bloodied or gored out for their own sake (ie, random "blood splattered" figures). Always seemed to be a cheap gimmick. But I don't think we're seeing that here. I think Jay's Dorogami is also cool, but I prefer the base design more than the dripping eyeball. Anyway, it's early days for this new design style. The pattern tends to be Naoki comes up with something new, tinkers with it, and perfects it over time.
That was my point, the beaten up, battle damage look would work better on something in the fight figure vein. That chubby little Ank looks like he was on the ass side of an ass kicking.
