Hmmm apparently the reviews for the item I'm most interested in from that set, the turntable, are pretty bad. The mechanism that turns the little fake record apparently is so loud that many people are saying it drowns out the sound of the speaker quite a bit, and apparently it drains batteries super quickly as well (I don't think that would be a huge problem because I can't think of actually using it as a primary speaker for more than a couple songs). Nonetheless if I can find it at Bic Camera or something for ~$25 I might still get it anyway. That TV is definitely a must-get though for sure. It's problem though apparently is that you can only go to curated YouTube channels with it go get the full experience.
I am always looking for these scans, and I always seem to keep finding them when I'm not looking for them. So I'm putting them here. Please remind me if I ask. Thank you.
Pretty sure it's a picture book mostly. I was assuming its similar to this great Taschen book, from the same 'Museum' which is basically one guys collection that got way out of control, he had so many he opened it up to the public. Awesome photos but not a huge amount of info. I'm assuming the details on many of these tin toys is sketchy at best anyway!
@Roger From a Pinterest clone site, I forget the name. Someone who is posting random Pachi and vintage stuff. I did a little bit of levels work on it in Photoshop. Took me a moment to realise its the same kid in two different hats, not twins.
I ran those hats by Eiji Kaminaga at Marusan. "By the way, that Kaiju hat is not MARUSAN’s product maybe bootleg MARUMON!"
