Does anyone have any information on the toys from maker “Asahi Kōgei” or maybe it’s Asahi Kogai? I came across them in a mandarake search. I think they might have a connection to Sunguts somehow? It’s mainly a line of 2 piece molded characters and many seem to share the same bodies with some Sunguts characters. And then there is a few larger figures also apparently. Animal characters with larger anthropomorphic bodies. Anyone have additional info on them?

So they are more of a manufacturer one can contract than a person/company doing their own toys? Hmm. That still leaves the toys as a bit of a mystery. I picked up one of the larger animal figures, and I’m just trying to get some background info on it...

A lot of his vinyl gets mixed up and mislabeled as Sunguts because they reuse/share a lot of the parts. Also, they are usually sharing a table or right next to eachother at Wonderfests. This is their Instagram handle. I suppose it recently changed from @asahikougei to @three_wax, because now they help produce vinyl for you? I'm not sure now.
