Just got back from Iceland and England and feeling creatively refreshed. Here's some stuff I've been working on since logging on last.

I wanted to continue working on my sculpting while also trying to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit. What better way to do it than by forcing myself to sculpt my own rendition of the Big G
    [IMG]

This is a severely apologetic character I came up with about two months ago, I think. It's an over-proportioned dugong with tusks simply named 'Jugon'.

Sorry for the quality control on this image, as I don't have a scanner or Photoshop. This is a watercolor I did of Woo in anticipation of the sculpt of that character I completed last year.

This is one of five sculpts I had commissioned from TheRojoToy based on my N.A.T.I.V.E.S. characters/concept. Tiny party-loving islanders with a pension for pig roasts and mai-tais. They're standard keshi size and will be produced as such in the coming future.

Anyways, I'm sure I could dig up more, but my body clock and jet lag are catching up with me and I need to pound this coffee and mow our lawn. Cheers, lads.

I dropped the ball and completely forgot about the Aztec Jaguar Warrior project. Here's some shots. It's meant to be one of a handful of different character sculpts that you can swap heads with (ie. a European Knight or Japanese Samurai) sorta thing. History should be fun and I thought this was an engaging way to learn and collect.

The head was sculpted by myself and the torso was sculpted by BigManToys, so many thanks for the assistance on that one.

@animator I can't even begin to tell you how stoked I was to read your post this morning while sitting in my truck preparing my day's paperwork. With that said, of the things posted above, the Jaguar Warrior is currently en route to a good fellow in Mexico to thus be transformed into plastic. Mexifubi seemed to be the proper course for that figure as It's a toy based on Classical Aztec history and culture and wanted to do it justice by having the toy produced in the land from which it is based. Plus the dude who's helping me out lives relatively close to one of the pyramids, so that was mega points for him.

The N.A.T.I.V.E.S. sculpts of which there are 5, are on their way to me right now and I should (hopefully) have them in hand by the end of next week, which I will then turn around and send them off to be turned into keshi.

The Godzilla sculpt was just a project that I had a lot of fun with and wanted to see how I could tackle it. Since there's the whole licensing thing with the Big G, I actually sent a couple emails out to see if some companies might be interested in picking it up. Not a big deal. It'd be cool to hear from them, but I'm not holding my breath.

In the meantime, while all this is going on, I am also playing the waiting game with Corey from Science Patrols. He has his mitts on 4 sculpts from me, 3 of which are the Lewis Chessmen sculpts from TheRojoToy and 1 being my Snow Phantom sculpt.

I also just cranked this little Swampfoot out over the weekend because I'm trying to keep myself occupied, and I love cryptozoology and paranormal everything.

Good morning, everyone! I am currently sweating through my eyelids. How is everyone else coping with their own weather?
    This is me right now:

    Naw that's actually Psychic Frog.

Also here's some more progress on other sculpts I have going.

From left to right there is the Black Metal Cultist, a small lake monster to coincide with Swampfoot and the Jersey devil sculpts, A more traditional rendition of a "Skookum" or Bigfoot with alot of reference to Native American costume. To the right of that and to the back is a far more simple and cleaned up platform boy I am working on. I already have a manufacturer for him. And finally a prehistoric Missing Link. He's got big lips and a hairy cone head because he's the missing link between us and our monkey relatives.

    Cheers, lads.

    Good evening fellows!
The Jaguar Knight is nearly finished production (!!!!)

Here is the 3D print sculpted by myself and BigManToys
    [IMG]

Here is a mound of fresh mexican vinyl!

And here is a sketch of my concept for this toy series, "Warriors From The Past". My goal is to release more warriors in the same scale so that you can swap the heads if you'd like and pit them together in battle! I've already begun conceptualizing a possible idea for a ring to create a play set

Frame them like that. I have a "sheet" of M1 Golgas that they released like this. I want to frame them and hang them up if I can flatten the edges enough.

First thing I thought of when I saw his post! That M1 set(?) was so mysterious to me when I first saw it, I kept returning to the pictures to try and figure out what it was - turned out to be my first exposure to what our prizes look like fresh out of the oven. I don't know how many times I resisted the temptation to pick one up when the opportunity arose - always so inexpensively, too! - and I've been actively kicking myself for the past couple of years for my previous discretion.

My display fantasy is to mount it it in a simple wooden frame of darkly stained wood, displayed flat, and with either just peat moss or perhaps some planted arugula or clover covering the base.

What were we talking about again?
