Sunguts brought his new giant kaiju and holy smokes it is BIG. 40cm tall even towers over his giant shin Godzilla!
I'm also hoping to score something form RxH, but worst case scenario if hes totally sold out by the time I get there, I plan on bringing my fav RxH piece with me to see if he will sign it and get a picture together. It'll be my first Dcon, but even if everything I wanted is all sold out, its still cool to see the creators of the toys we love and meet other collectors.
Well we're not going to be able to get it all. That's just impossible with the sheer amount of room, days and all the time schedules to remember for drops. I'm just happy there is going to be enough options for everyone to enjoy.
Most likely some of the stuff you want will definitely sell out before you have a chance to copy it however you definitely won’t leave disappointed. Just like Headhunter said, there is just so much there.. Last year, I ended up getting to the convention about an hour or two after it opened. I completely missed out on any chance of Itokin Park and Pushead however this is what I ended up going home with..
its just the nature of my anxiety. last year i missed out on a lot of things while getting there at opening but part of that was my lack of researching other booths and having tunnel vision on itokin stuff. no doubt ill leave with some cool stuff this year just like last
Believe it or not I was in your situation to. I missed a lot of awesome stuff. But I still found some great stuff! In fact the first booth I visited was Teresa's. That Inu-Harigon is a bad ass toy. And even though I didn't get many big ticket items I had a good time.
PK releases look amazing. I only ever made it out to 1 Dcon and it was amazing. Good luck folks. Enjoy it.
They are by a company out of South Korea called Third Stage. I scored them at the Broke Piggy booth at Dcon last year. They are part of Dogbird series one, they were blind boxed. http://www.spankystokes.com/2017/07/is-it-dog-or-is-it-bird-no-its-dogbird.html?m=1
First day down, and I am havin’ a goddamn blast. Completely exhausted and depleted, but holy shit, it’s so great to see everyone. I can’t wait to watch these lottos and happy peeps walk away with so much greatness. I genuinely held a lot of contention for this con moving, but I haven’t a single complaint. It’s admittedly a little overwhelming, but I have to keep reminding myself I don’t have to see every single booth. Great, great start.
@xSuicide Squadx I'd have to agree. This was a freaking awesome day and so much more Japanese vinyl toys this time around to! Toy Karma was good to me today.
i actually only have a saturday pass haha so we shall see tomorrow. luckily sour lemon is selling itokin stuff tomorrow. how was the sunguts booth
Surprisingly I had no issues at Sunguts. They pretty much had whatever you could want there still. And I was waiting at the Medicom booth almost an hour.
Yeah the Frilled Shark, one or two of the Oppai girls, the Dancing Cat, and a couple others are sold out from Sunguts, But he still has plenty. He did a lottery on the new giant figure tonight at 8pm and somebody won and bought it ($300). I missed out on the Frilled Shark and I'm a bit bummed, especially since I'm literaly in the booth next to him haha Got to see a few of y'all and it's been fun! I have barely made it out of the booth though, so I honestly haven't seen much yet. Ugh tomorrow morning they are letting VIP access start at 9am. It's going to be a loong day
Dude, seriously!!! Didn’t even know that was a thing until I got there this afternoon. We skirted the hell out of that. Just pulled up next to the locked back entrance gate, unloaded our shit and carried it through the docks. They started us down the whole time, but didn’t say anything. *shrug*
Good luck to everyone today on your toys. I'll be around in a gray EDTK shirt if anyone wants to chat. Looking to be a fantastic show already!
