Rampage Toys' Original Creations

Cory (Science Patrols) supplied me with a smattering of this and thats when I was over in September/October last year - hence the game developer larvae, mossy kappa and other SP goodies in the bags. I’ll be back over on Thursday (for Wonfes and Standard mold-maker and Vinyl Shop meetings), so we’ll see what I come back with!

 

Thank you Deevis and Anthony! I gotta say, the Mossy Kappa is awfully cute. He looks like an amalgam of fuzzy curly sheep body, with dino appendages, and half dino half bird head! Can't wait to see more LBs! Please post more!

can you please post a closeup of his noggin? Just curious, he's super cute! I especially like the way tiny pigmon is staring at the bald spot!

 

@Mr. Humphreys - Grace, according to Kappa yokai lore, they have a small pool of water on their heads. I will get you some more photos soon, but I have been a bit busy crafting some crude weapons for the DoOMKopF-X!

So that pool of water is to protect the dish structure on the top of their heads, to keep it wet so that the powers aren't frozen or lost. Soooooo... keep a clothes pin handy (to stop up your nose from "gas" attacks), carry lots of cucumbers, avoid swimming if you are a female, females should wear pants, keep your livestock clear of kappas, and practice bowing a lot to see if you can get them to bow back (or carry a very long curved pipette, so you can drain that pool!)

@Mr. Humphreys - Grace, that is a very in-depth amount of kappa lore, and I am both disturbed and intrigued by what I just read on that page. I definitely do not want any kappa attacking my bottom!

 

Well there is a whole lotta disturbing yokai you can read about on that site! A great reference though!
I'd say that if you kept a larder stocked with cucumbers, you prolly won't have to worry about entrails . You can tell Pigmon is teensy bit worried looking Thank you for posting the fab photo! Really cute toys in your LB! Not only are the toys super nice, but those colors!

Thanks for posting those photos! They are all nice (LUV those tiny Tuffs!), but I still think your LB is the best so far!

p.s. maybe if you put one of those mini doughnuts in the Kappa pool, that would keep its disposition sweet?

It has been enjoyable to get to know @JMRampage along with this wonderfully unique rendition of the original 1954 Gojira. The sculpt is nicely balanced with excellent joints, which makes it great for posing. Also, it feels like a nice middle-ground between a vintage sofubi vibe and more modern realistic texturing:



Looks great on the goji green vinyl, and I feel very lucky to land one of these beasts. For those who missed the AP's, the factory paints are still available to preorder at Vampire Robots, Entertainment Earth, or your local comic/toy shop.
