Yes, about 3 months or so ago? Marusan has opened up select preorders for USA and other overseas customers in the past 5 months or so. The current one is three different types of Seabull

It was a few months ago. It went on sale the month after Giant Gorilla pre-orders ended and was on the International orders page along with a painted blue version. Then they had some seabulls up and now just the Booska. I charged it last night and I was able to get a glow shot using a phone camera with no long exposure. Sorry it's so fuzzy, maybe I can get a clearer shot. Belly, tips, wings and tail are all unpainted/semi-painted GID areas.

@AgentRavage @decypher Thanks guys, somehow I managed to totally miss it despite seeing the blue version. Same goes for the Seabull pre-order; that peachy-pink on GID is just beautiful. :|

I thought I'd be most excited about the Giant Gorilla it has a great vibrant blue red paint app. But this Bondora is really catching my eye a lot.

The other 450s are closer to 12" tall. That doesn't sound like much, but the cumulative visual effect of upsizing the figure really gives it added presence. I just picked up one of the 450 Classic Godzillas. Really don't want to get pulled into these, but it is very nice.

@akum6n - Nice, which version of the 450 gojira did you pick up? I am still trying to figure out how many different paint variations were created of the original 2016 Showa release. I have two different ones already, but it's difficult to tell from other photos.

    I'll post some photos tonight.

EDIT: @deafmetal, here it is. This is one of the one-off 450s from the Marusan Festival in November last year. Similar to the 60 one-off 350s from a few years ago, they made 62 one-off 450s. This is #2.

Sorry the photos are kind of junk.

Glad I came back to this thread post-edit. Hot damn, that is one gorgeous Godzilla! What a stunner you grabbed there, Daniel. :D Congratulations! I really love the darker copper paint on the blue vinyl light that, and the very subtle gold sprays accents they used. Phenomenal. I am sure you are incredibly happy. And, if I might be so bold, seems like he would make a lovely companion to your pretty Goji too. I saw some of these out there, but didn't realise it was the same sort of one-offs they did for the anniversary. Argh, now you are really going to make that hunting challenge. Not to mention how much even more I am regretting now having to pass on some of them that I saw. I managed to track down one of the 350s a couple years back, and it just happened to be the one I liked most of the bunch, but having a big 450 brother would be a delight. {I was never really sure that these were one-offs, or just done in a very limited number} That is really a beauty to look at, excellent hunting skills good sir, and thank you for sharing the pics.

Thanks for sharing these here, Anthony. I am particularly very happy with the diorama set, felt palpable excitement when I first saw some preview shots, and it is something I will definitely hunt down in the future. I always lament how few 'accessories' there are to play with pose alongside of our kaiju toys; things like buildings and vehicles are something I have been after since I have owned these figures. I think each of these has been previously issued in some form or other (not certain the size is the same, however) but it is brilliant to have them altogether like this. Painted would be still more impressive, but at this point I will be incredibly happy with whatever I can get. And hey, for anyone worried about doubling about on the power line/'steal' tower, you can assemble them with the ones from your Goji set and have something for him to pull the whole thing down on. :)

The other highlight for me has to be the Pegila. While I am not usually one for metallic paints, the purple here is done in a light and subtle way - very classic - that it amplifies the colours, rather than being distracting. Excellent work too on the half-closed eyes, and of course, lipstick! Marusan's really doing wonders with the 450 line now. Just be a tad happier if it was easier to get them, the costs stopped rising, but again, I think most of it is fully justified looking at these, especially in relation to the increased prices in the sofubi hobby across the board (unfortunately).

Individual painted versions are offer in that link for 2,000 to 4,000 yen depending on the piece. But they are simply painted silver. Save some money if you just buy the set and paint them yourself to a color of your liking. Size comparison with some of the Tederos kaiju are shown with the buildings but, don't be fooled. King Godorasu figure shown with the electrical tower is deceiving if you don't know the size of the kaiju figure. The King Godorasu is approximately 7 inches in height.

Pegira is also my favorite. I may have to try and get him.

@decypher Wow I remember seeing that Purple one off painted Bondra somewhere (or one with similar colors) for sale, and now I'm pissed I did not snag it.
@akum6n That Goji is really spectacular!

Does anyone know of a blog/site/internet page where I could view some of the one offs from these shows? I completely missed even knowing about them.

    Hey Chris,

This was the 2014 Marusan Festival event. There were like 60 Godzilla colors for this event.

Looks like the pictures might be gone.

@deafmetal - This was one of them from the 2014 Marusan Festival which Mark has. The color version was label as #19.

A few of the others from that event:
    #20

    #48

***When I get the time I will try to post them all for the sake of keeping a database here for collectors.

@chimply.kaiju - Actually, these are new 450 size sixty-two version gojiras!

@akum6n - Daniel, awesome grab on that #2 goji! I didn't know that any of the sixty-two versions were actually for sale from Marusan Toy Festival '16 as one-offs, as I thought they were for display only for preorders. I have heard only three of each variant will be made, is that true? Is this vinyl very thick and dense similar to the sixty-version 350's from a few years ago? Anyway, here is all the info I have:

*Note that #51 is repeated again incorrectly as #52 in the catalog. #52 is actually the red one below:

Here are all of them together from the Winter 2016 Marusan Toy Festival:

I preordered five of these last year based on the tiny catalog photos, especially the ones that resemble vintage Bullmark spray designs. It broke the bank at the time! I might be willing to pass along some 450 Gojiras after picking my favorites over the summer. The latest word is that they should be arriving by the end of July. Daniel has drawn the first goji in the wild! :)

Wow so many Goji's, I had no idea they did so many one-offs all at once hopefully I can track one down. #3 Green on pink and the metallic blue on orange are my favs for sure.

The diorama set is amazing! I was thinking of making fake trees and buildings for my 450s. They are highly addictive, the first 450 I pulled out of a bag shocked me, I thought it would be half that size but it has made collecting exciting for me again.

I need that GID gomez (i'm assuming thats what they mean by phosphorescent). After looking at all of the new releases close up i think the Pegilla has the best paint app. The subtle metallic gold and pink on the belly and they even painted in red eyelids and thin pink lined lips. Looks like a winner.

HA! I literally just said the same thing about the pink lips, the eyelids etc. Great minds think alike.

I agree with this sentiment. I have read a few comments about what they were possibly going for with the 450 series, similar to a giant Marmit, where the toy feels so large in your hands that it's just like being a kid again with a big monster toy. I feel the size of these figures hits it just perfectly. The previous Marusan giant series were made in China, and just felt a bit too large to be easily poseable or displayed, but the 450's are almost perfect. Sometimes the standard size 9" figures feel a bit like a smaller model kit. I know others have preferred the vintage Bullmark giants in the same way. The problem is that you need more space for the bigger beasts. ;)

ps - The industrial/city diorama pieces are excellent. I have picked up a few different power line towers over the years, but have always wanted the gas tanks and other pieces. I think I might order an unpainted set, if I could afford it right now. Also, Max Toy has some similar micro-scale pieces if anybody is interested in such things.

I could be wrong on the one-off thing. I was basing it on the prior 350 Gojis.

Oh man that black diorama set is a dream come true, especially at that price! I was able to check them out at Superfestival and passed on individual pieces due to size (my suitcase was already going to be full as hell) so this is a happy happening for me! I think I'm going to pick up a set and then an extra Steel Tower as well.
