He talked about them a bit! He pointed out that the buildings in these shots are actually just pencil organizers for desks that he spraypainted haha.
Lottery is finished for April. Announcements go out on the 26th but if it's Japan time it's already the 26th! Good luck! Crossing my fingers.
This months toys are bad ass! Unfortunately I have no money and haven't been able to sign up in the lottery. Must say that I'm devastated because of this. Best of luck to all you other Elegab fans here on SB. Hope to see some great photos of em up here later.
I'm hoping that I get that King Smog with guts. Apparently the clear ones are being a pain in the ass to cast so the KS and Satan Killer are low numbers this time. That Hedegon looks great in red!
Oh also I found out why Bukiminda, one of, in my opinion, the line's most amazing Kaiju is in the "difficult to produce" catagory and isn't made much is that the angle of the feet attaching to the legs is too severe and they tend to distort or tear when they are pulled from the mold.
Correction; the guts aren't necklaces, but colored beads inside of clear tubing with some tinsel thrown in as well. Elegab guts by Doug Hardy, on Flickr
I'll take better photos in the next day or so, I'm super jet-lagged at the moment. But man it's great having this grail in the collection Disk Kappa at home by Doug Hardy, on Flickr
I was hoping for a clear Saturn Killer, but it will not be... Looks like a very difficult lottery this time. I hope it's not a sign of bad things to come for Elegab fans. Concerning the inner parts, I like the idea, but I am always anxious with toys mixing different types of plastics. Some do not age well, and some do not live well together. I've had bad experiences with hardening, melting, fusing, staining plastics (action dolls or figures, not sofubi), partially or completely ruining toys (for exemple the Moby Dick Go Nagai small action dolls, within a 5 years span). I'm not sure the creators are aware of the problem when they assemble them...
I don't think we should expect shortages as long as he stays away from completely clear vinyl, he's stating that is the particular problem this time. Of course, the last King Smog he made (green) there was only 9 of them. I didn't think of that potential problem with the plastics. Fingers crossed.
Doug, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but can we please stop talking numbers, especially in the Elegab thread? It only attracts the wrong people.
Sorry, just repeating what was said by Mr. Shintani. Edit: I didn't mean that to sound flippant, sorry. Yeah I just like talking about all aspects of these things including production information. I totally understand and will avoid such chat in the future.
Don't worry about it, I think the concern is that potential flippers will use that insider information to price hike or tout them as being rare in the aftermarket. It's best to keep run numbers secret unless they're blatantly revealed publicly by the maker themselves.

Clear vinyl can only be made with the right weather conditions. Perhaps the weather wasn't cooperative this time around.
^ Good point. I suppose that someone should put an FU in against humidity! TO MAKE QUALITY CLEAR VINYL!
