Wow, blast from the past. That was the first toy I ever made, remember working on it about 10 years ago. Ball jointed arms and neck cast by MonsterHero. Probably less than 10 total in existence, I don't see them too often.
Are you gonna be at Five Points, Joe? I'm gonna need a bigger memory card for all the camera craziness I'll be doin' that whole week.
I'll be checking it out. Kind of unsure of what to expect for year 1. Will definitely be interesting. NYCC has been in decline for several years. Between the isolation of all vinyl toys to the Block and a huge part of that section being devoted to floods of Funko Pop. I'm rooting for Clutter, hopefully they can create a new festival in NYC that can take on D-con status.
I've only ever been to one NYCC, and The Block was pretty solid that year(2014). I obviously don't know what to expect, but from what I've seen in photos, Clutter tends to do pretty well with their events. Fingers crossed this becomes a yearly East Coast DCon!
Mueller, Mueller? por favor? lol (yes i spelled it wrong, please try and understand the reference.) 5 points has the potential to be the east coast d con, since we are being pushed out of the big CC's little by little. it will be interesting to continue to see where the train goes none the less.
Five Points is gettin' cooler and cooler as us draws near. Joe did mention, though, that this Met Death is only a test he had fun with, and that an actual run will hopefully see the Con. View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
Whats the price point of the Met Death going to be? I'm obviously not going to be able to make it to Fivepoint Festival but im definitely interested in acquiring one in a future run. That face its making and the mace adds a certain lvl of awesomeness i can't really pass up.
@Headhunter Given Joe's general pricing for his larger figures, I'd have to guesstimate this one around the $250 to $300 price point, which I'm very comfortable with.
Agree, considering I own quite a decent amount of his great sofubi toys at reasonable prices as well i wouldn't mind paying for this dude. Those are fairly good prices especially for a 12 inch toy like that with weapon accessories. Wouldn't mind owning a blank myself like the one he posted awhile back. The blue is a fantastic color!
I like how the Usir appears larger than it is. If this came walking from down the hills, I'd run like hell.
