Something of mine will probably end up here someday, I have some gnarly demons I would like to sculpt at some point... Like a featherless bird thing with a flesh beak and dozens of mouths on breast-like chest tumors. I wish I were kidding, but kind of don't.

Crazy how tastes differ, I really love the "staple baby" sculpt with the faces all over but the other "Gergle" sculpt I'm not really a fan of.

I like artificial banana flavoring. My girlfriend does not. It's a wild world.

Hah, you know, the autopsy babies actually don't bother me. They're in an odd category of "I don't love it, I don't hate it, I kind of feel indifferent." I guess that's because I never was a fan of baby dolls to begin with. I don't really collect humanoid sculpts either. I've really liked some of the paint applications and marbling on the babies, but other than that I haven't really had any interest in actually having one.

The Autopsy Babies are the best thing to happen to the sofubi world. Im all for cute sometimes but only in small fucking doses.

There really fucking incredible in hand. I have four, two of which are painted and one blank and i haven't been the least bit disappointed in them.

Forgot to add the one off blind bag marble version i got this year! :)

Just saw a close up of the Oletremba on Guumon's IG.
YOU CAN SEE THE 3D PRINT LINES ON THE MECHA EYE TOO.

Welcome to the new age of sofubi! Made in China, designed by a "mystery" person, may or may not have been sculpted by the creator regardless of what they claim, rushed from the sculpt/print to the wax to the metal mold to Instagram for $$$...

Confirmed. Followed your lead and travelled over there to look for myself. You're not kidding. Guumon's a galactically spectacular painter (And an astoundingly nice guy in person, I'll add) and could make really any toy look amazing......but wow that Oletremba is pretty bad. That's why I could never bring myself to produce any "finished" toys via 3D printer. Sure I've had prototypes made through 3DHubs but that's totally different.

This is what the wax stage is for in sofubi production, making final touches before the master metal mold is made. Making molds isn't cheap either... why someone wouldn't fix those 3D print lines is beyond me. The only explanation is laziness, lack of giving a shit, or it was a rush job. Maybe a bit of everything!

Looks like the price dropped somewhat and the "sofubi" tag isn't being used to describe it anymore.

Really odd marbling though. Almost like when you squish a bunch of playdough colors together.

Yeah seems like all Chinese producers can't get a grip on how to marble vinyl without it becoming a murky mess..

Just goes to show what an excellent job guys like Dennis and Luke are doing with double/triple pours over in Japan :)

I wouldn't even call that "marbling." If it were up to me, I would say that it looks like "multicolored vinyl." It doesn't look bad either... if you aren't expecting it to be marbled.

    EDIT: For clarity.

This looks like a Christmas card of someone's really ugly quintuplets.
Seriously though, this is a sad attempt at marbling, if that's what it really was intended to look like to begin with. The Play-dough observation is spot-on, haha. I used to keep one bin of Play-dough that I just couldn't separate the colors of, and it pretty much looked like one of these when you popped it out of the yellow container...

I just spit out my drink. Lol. That's the most hilarious tattoo I've seen since the Patrick Swayze unicorn tattoo.

Just noticed that his obnoxious IG tagging and underlit pics w/ black background are awfully similar. I love how he tried to pretend he's Italian on IG two days after it was confirmed here that this ships from the Netherlands... A truly brilliant ruse.

I have no idea how anyone can like anything Kearjun has put out. The proportions are all fucked up, the joints are piss poor, just...ugh. I wouldn't want any of his toys if I could get them all for free.

If you want a respectful high quality Fulci-inspired toy, go try and get a Retroband Zombi MEATS and not this low-rent Wal-Mart bargain bin piece of shit.

I'd take those for free, @kid_miracleman ! To practice airbrushing techniques on, and then I'd promptly throw them in the trash because they freak me out.

To be fair everything Japanese made for the most part is quote on quote creepy. Everything would go in the trash at this point. Zollemen, Nag, etc.
