Hi Everybody During my travels to Japan last year I manged to see a Blue Baltan, I had read here, in some other threads, that it exist. I have been looking online to see if I can see a picture. Would anybody be willing to post a pic of this elusive beast!!!!! ok, so maybe it has been elusive to me...thanks in advance.
I know that Bullmark did a special release in 2011 of a blue Baltan. Not sure if this is the one you might have seen maybe, or could have been done as a re-issue of a rarer vintage version that I am unaware of.

Ah right. There was also a B-Club reprint that looked almost the same from '97 that looked nearly identical, but still not sure that could give it the right look of a vintage, though I have seen plenty of 'worn' new toys too that could pass without a close inspection. Brian might be talking about one of the rarer Enterprise versions. Not sure if it was a noticeable blue, or possible just had a blue vinyl base but with very similar paint scheme to the standard Marusan/Bullmark. Could be in one of the Sato monster books maybe.

Thank guys for the links and the share knowledge....I have a couple of Kaiju books..I can't tell if the author's name is Sato...But I have not seen it there. I will keep on looking...I will keep folks posted if interested....
Blue paint? or Blue vinyl and painted? or unpainted blank blue vinyl? Are you sure it was by Marusan and not another company?
Maybe an odd place to look for proof, but the Soul of Bullmark HG toys were all based on specific releases of the vintage originals. The second variant of Alien Baltan released has a blue base: The description on the box reads マルサン珍色. Translation? Marusan rare color.
