Watching this show gave me the same feelings (I imagine I would experience) from eating a toe nail soup.
A whole lot of never before experienced sensations from watching a show. Sure is a change of pace from the superheroes, space samurai and dragons we're being forced fed.

Oh, man... Episode 4? It's not that the concepts weren't comprehensible, but, as executed, I felt like my mind was a two-by-four, slowly being bent, the tension along it increasing with every shift, an ever growing chance of it just splintering into uncountable fragments.

This Fool on Hulu is pretty damn hilarious. Brings me back to a lot of familial bickering from my childhood, but with grown ass adults, and funny.

American Horror Stories on Hulu has some pretty decent shorts. Entertaining at the very least with some episodes.

I also recently(finally) watched the Suspiria remake on Amazon Prime. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL reimagining of the film with an excellent score and gorgeous cinematography. Highly recommended.

I haven't seen the LOTR series yet but they spent a horrendous amount of money to make it. Probably enough each episode to pay for another season of The Expanse.

I started the Wrexham documentary on Hulu having no idea what that was. I m happily surprise so far.
Particularly recommended if, like me, you’re still all stored up by The Rehearsal.

Also watching the animated series Love Death & Robot on Netflix and Primal HBO. If you re into that sort of things and somehow missed them, go check it out now. Primal first season feels like a master class in story telling and animation.

Concur. Just watched it last night and it's the best Predator movie I've seen. Beautifully shot. Some of the CG wasn't the greatest, but it didn't detract from an an otherwise beautiful movie.

I loved Prey. I watched it two days in a row: once by myself and the next day with a friend. I wholeheartedly agree that it’s the best of the Predator movies, in my opinion. The cinematography and scenery/settings are phenomenal. The premise of hunter hunting the hunter between Naru and the Predator makes for a great dynamic. My only preference I’d have liked is if they spoke Comanche the whole film and had subtitles, but there is Comanche dubbing available.

The Patient and The Suspect, both new, both feature a therapist as a central character.

Steve Carell's the psychdoc in the FX/Hulu double-entendre-titled mini-series, The Patient. Domhnall Gleeson's his patient, and he's outstanding in this thing, much the better of these two programs. Each of the first three episodes are delivered in 20minute gulps; easy to consume, tricky to digest. No give-aways here, no spoilers, just a hearty, hardy recommendation.

The Suspect's less well-done, though interesting, mostly due to intricately contrived coincidences that drive the plot. British miniseries on ITV, based on a novel by Australian writer, Michael Robotham. The main character, psychologist and Suspect, works in private practice and hospital, and is recently diagnosed with onset Parkinson's. This one's posed a psychological mystery thriller. Haven't read the novel, imagine it's a better effort than this endeavour, tho. After two episodes, the mystery seems solved here. Likely to continue watching, at least to confirm suspicions.

So I'm epi 4 into the The Offer on Paramount+ and it's just ripping good stuff! imho. If I didn't already know how it turns out, I'd say I hope they make it, but.. I will have to try and binge the remaining 6 episodes in the day left from my 7 day trial, but I might just soldier through it!

obscene amount of cash spent especially when you can "see" the way it was produced at times but i'm digging it a lot. blows away anything disney has tried to do with star wars since they bought it. aside from rogue one everything has sucked ass very very hard imo.

Other than the Kenobi spin off I would agree. Andor looks pretty cool though.

Some of the LOTR 'acting' feels like a bad high school production!

Late to the game, but the wife and I finished Ted Lasso. Second season wasn't nearly as strong as the first, but really good overall.

On my own, I've made it to the 3rd season of SEE. You've gotta suspend belief a bit, but it's been a fun fantasy show that's moved fast enough not to get too bogged down with it's gimmick.
