Anyone else get their winner emails for the baron 350lotto? I can’t wait to see it in person

I know a couple other 'brainers got lucky, too - which is just great. I don't think, even while this was a 'lottery' the numbers of the Baron were likely all that small (and certainly not compared to the more independent makers who run lotteries), was likely more just to handle expected high demand [and of course, in the inevitable wave that is needed to feed those YJA and Mandarake waves ]. But in any case, for those who were not so lucky this time, I think it is a very safe bet it won't be long before we see a bunch of other versions of this toy. Marusan never shies away from lots of variations in paint and colour, which is just fantastic, as this allows a lot of fans to have a chance. And their output in production is pretty darn remarkable too, if I can say. So yeah, a lot more to come, and I look forward to it.

Nice Booska release. Is it just me or...A nice toy of a character in a kid-friendly show painted beautifully, and Asaka Kubo looks troubled?

    nevermind.

I agree. I am also trying to put myself in the mindset of being able to spend $9,000+ on a toy. Must be nice.

Question on the 450 series Hedorah: I recently picked up one of these, new in bag, in a trade... and was kinda disappointed to find that the tail is fixed position/glued in place. Just verifying here- is this the case with all of them? I assume so, but want to make sure I didn't get some weird aberrant one...

    Thanks!

Question, and hopefully this is a good spot for it:
I see a lot of Bullmark/Marusan figures kept in their package. Is it considered taboo to take them out and let them breath or is it buyer's choice? Always wondered.

@ungawa222 I do not have a Hedorah 450 but I do have a couple Gojira 450 where the tails were glued in place at the factory due to poor fits. I saw this on the clear/glitter vinyl more than opaque versions.

@Brooklyn_Vinyl - Buyer’s choice, and I broke that new Baron 350 out of the bag within seconds. People enjoy different styles of collecting of these toys, although they sure are fun to pose and play with (which is the idea right?)

I have a 450 series hedorah, the masked "phantom" one. And he also has a glued tail. Not great for those that display with tails off for space saving.

Exactly... even being able to turn a bit would help.

That info about glued tails on the 450s is super disappointing to hear.
