After the initial distribution of e-mails I figured I was out of luck but it seems someone decided to cancel. Got my top priority pick!
Congrats on the luck! It looks like Gargamel posted in their blog that there were some issues with hotmail and outlook with the sending and receiving of emails.
GK-79 here! My top five were 76-80 but I made a submission for 11 figures in total. I would have been thrilled to get anything lower down the line. It was an incredible assortment to choose from.
Thanks! This was at the top of my list. Given how few winners were picked from the US and EU, I am pretty floored that I managed to get it.
I'm not sure if this is best place to post this so a mod can move it if there's a better place. I'm impressed with Gargamel's ability to hold onto their sculpts. I thought of this when I saw the standard and mini deathra for the AA anniversary show, such an oldie but a goodie. They frequently bring back classic scupts (zags) in the lucky bags and shows. Does anyone have any insight into how they are able to do this? I'm guessing they do their pulling in house so it's easier to keep track and not damage the molds?
If I'm right they do own their own factory. I honestly think this is the main factor of being able bring back old sculpts whenever. Maybe their mold organization is a lot better also? From what I've seen factories just have a pile of molds.
They work with one factory exclusively, and they have a solid and long lasting relationship. They don’t have their own factory. A couple boardies work with the same place (or at least used to). Even THEIR molds have been know to disappear to the bottom of the stack on occasion though.
Photos don't do this thing justice. Hard to imagine how many hours went into all the detail. I'm a very happy Gargamel fan.
Congrats to all you folk who were able to score some Garg gold. Happy to see some fellow boardies got something

The Thrash Out Show Online - Winter 2021: GK-80 Tetoran/Tetran (GID Guts) Nice to see where other figures ended up! Excuse the slight orange tinge on the silver parts of the toy. I was wearing my favorite Halloween sweatshirt when I took pics and forgot about the reflection.
Yes glows too, havent actually seen it glow yet in person because I've been away from home but yes glow vinyl under the clear.
