I need to talk to a psychologist to understand how I feel about this toy.

And i don't really understand why they're called this, when it seems to be mainly non-kaiju Funko Pop figures only :

Not "fugliest" material but it annoys me when people custom-paint Kumons with a rub. Yes, the sculpt is wonderfully detailed but the textures give a smooth and meditative feel to the toy. High-contrast rubs ruin that a bit.

    Colorway name "Rainbow vomit".

I feel bad about giving more attention. But, I can't help but feel that, maybe this piece is just a bit too self aware.

    Edit for clarity

Yep, saw this coming a mile away. The Ed Sheeran of sofubi is obviously quite pleased with himself with that reference. Doesn't stop it being dog shit. Extremely colourful dog shit, but dog shit none the less ...

Of course he's entitled to his little jab, and we're entitled to post his 'art' on the fugly thread, where it belongs.

I'm confused by the Baltan. It looks like it was painted by Guumon and Candie Bolton, at the same time.

You're probably right. They both do fugly in their own way. Plenty of people love their shit so they're not gonna stop!

Nice of them to provide a free box for burial, when you get sick of looking at the damn thing.

Not sure how fugly, because I'm hallucinating just looking at it. Can I get some feedback, here?

There's not much to the sculpt so the paint makes up for it. I like it.

Another boring addition to a boring trend. Apparently toys aren't cool anymore unless they fuck you in the eyes with day-glo paint ...

Thanks, you just succinctly summed-up a large amount of modern sofvi, except for the paint making up for it part ...

This is not to my taste at all, sculpt or paint... but I have to say that is technically a FANTASTIC paint application.
It's hard to imitate something like tie-dye/marbleization and make it look truly random and flowing and "accidentally" balanced, especially on a 3D object. Whoever painted this has very good airbrush control and a lot of patience.
